Director Profile: Kazuhiro Nakagawa Born in 1986 in Nara Prefecture, Kazuhiro Nakagawa is a film director. He trained under Shinji Higuchi and Takashi Miike, and worked as an assistant director on films including Shin Godzilla (2016).He was selected for the "ndjc: Young Filmmaker Development Project," where he directed "Good-bye, Diamond" (2018). His works span a wide range of genres, from TOKUSATSU productions such as "the Fest Godzilla series" (2019–) and "Ultraman Blazar" (2023) to dramas like "Double" (2022), "Hakubo no Chronicle", and "Mass-Produced Riko" (2024). He also wrote the screenplay for the Netflix film "Bullet Train Explosion" (2025), which became a global hit.
