Beach repairs to move forward in Buxton in hopes of slowing erosion

Along the Outer Banks in Buxton, North Carolina, the National Park Service said plans are moving forward to fix a piece of infrastructure that captures sand that hasn't seen repairs since the 1990s. The repairs are being made alongside beach renourishment efforts in hopes of preventing erosion.
