We planned a simple surprise for Ryder and thought it would be an easy, fun family day. The plan was to take him to a local car show, check out some incredible cars, and turn it into a fun competition where each of us picked the one car we would take home if we could choose any. The energy was high and Ryder had no idea what was coming. Then we got the call. Right in the middle of the day, Grandma called with an emergency after cutting her hand and needing to go to the ER. Real life doesn’t pause, even when plans are perfect, and everything shifted in an instant. After navigating the unexpected, we stopped to grab food and were completely blown away by the setting at Westgate River Ranch, where the car show was held.
