Virginia is a picturesque lake in the city of Whanganui (New Zealand), located around 4 kilometres north-west of the city centre. I paid a short visit on Sunday the 18th of January 2026, and while I was there, I saw two ducks having a fight (for some reason), had a look in the bird aviary and saw plenty of ducks swimming on the lake.
