Join Joe and I for another instalment from our recent trip to the Matukituki Valley - painting Plein Air! Here we set up on the banks of the Matukituki Valley overlooking a tranquil scene. The peace didn’t last for long, as the wind swept through we were blown away! Joe is one of the finest plein air artists working today and it was a privilege to paint alongside him. Talk about a pressure gig! There were so many take-aways for me, working with his palette and system. I feel like not only was I challenged, but I grew in this experience, and to see what he produced in the time - MIND BLOWN!
