Ana Candida Evora arrived in Florida on Friday, after her son – Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha – captured the imagination of the world with his excellence in the Blue Sharks' shock 0-0 draw with Spain, followed by his tearful comments about his mum being excluded from the country. She is now able to watch her son’s team face Uruguay on Sunday after the US State Department offered her a visa.
