Australia may relax fuel standards to cut costs at the bowser

Australia's fuel standards could be relaxed further to increase the country's supply by expanding the pool of fuel imports. Collectively, with the GST discount and the fuel excise cut, Australians are looking at around 32 cents a litre cheaper fuel at the bowser. Health Minister Mark Butler assures Australians of the support from state leaders. “We're leaving no stone unturned.” Mr Butler said. “We are securing supplies to come here to Australia.”
