Mark Carney releases pathetic woke AI national strategy

To AI super fans, this strategy is being viewed as too much government involvement and interference. To AI-sceptics, the national strategy is too soft on AI developers. As expected, the Liberal government's AI strategy involves hundreds of millions of dollars in corporate slush funds while also being full of discussion of equity, inclusion, and Indigenous-led AI leadership. The AI strategy does not address the tens of thousands of potential job losses. The deep and serious moral implications of letting AI dominate society, childhood education and constraining and controlling AI growth. Much of the opposition to AI has been from the political left, but Harrison Faulkner argues that this is not a political issue.
