Madonna, Shakira, BTS to headline first World Cup final half-time show The halftime performers at the FIFA World Cup Final have been announced. Madonna, Shakira, and BTS will headline the Super Bowl-style show. Chris Martin is organizing the show, which is a first for a football World Cup final. The World Cup final is on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Forty-eight teams are competing in the biggest-ever World Cup. The tournament kicks off on June 11 in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
