VERBENA (KOTO) has traversed Caraga and the Visayas as a Tropical Depression with winds of 55 kph, gusting up to 75 kph, and it brought torrential rains and thunderstorms. The system became a Tropical Storm just as it passed over Northern Palawan. Right now, the system is now a full-blown Severe Tropical Storm as it is about to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR). Meanwhile, a strong Shear Line are bringing widespread rains across some portions of Northern Luzon especially along Cagayan and Isabala.
