Failure Biblical Answer: God can still use you. 1 Timothy 1:15-16 (KJB) "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief. Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting." Encouragement Paul had been a persecutor, yet God saved him and used him mightily. Failure is not greater than God's grace. 12. Doubt Biblical Answer: Walk by faith, not sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJB) "(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)" Encouragement Faith rests upon what God has said, even when circumstances seem uncertain. 13. Grief Biblical Answer: Comfort from the God of all comfort. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (KJB) "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God." Encouragement God understands sorrow and provides comfort that the world cannot give. 14. Heartbreak Biblical Answer: The Lord heals broken hearts. Psalm 147:3 (KJB) "He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds." Encouragement The Lord is able to mend wounds that no human being can heal. 15. Betrayal Biblical Answer: Christ understands betrayal. Matthew 26:48-50 (KJB) "Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him. And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore art thou come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus, and took him." Encouragement The Lord Jesus knows the pain of betrayal and can strengthen those who have been wounded by others.
