Dr. Amie Harwick, a 38-year-old Los Angeles sex therapist and former fiancée of Drew Carey, was found gravely injured beneath her third-floor balcony in the early hours of February 15, 2020, after Valentine's Day night. Her ex-boyfriend Gareth Pursehouse had broken in, waited for hours, then strangled and threw her over the railing after years of stalking and abuse.
