Queues have formed at petrol stations across the UK after warnings of rising fuel prices, with some pumps running dry. Oil prices jumped 13% on Monday amid Middle East conflict, as Iran’s retaliatory attacks disrupted shipping in the Strait of Hormuz - a passage handling around 20% of global oil and gas. More than 200 ships are reportedly anchored outside the strait.
