Black doctors living in Sask. share gaps in the medical field

Dr. Chukwuma Oraegbunam moved from the U.K. to Prince Albert, Sask., to practise psychiatry almost a year ago, and efforts are underway to welcome more Black doctors in Canada. Black physicians constitute 1.5 per cent of the country's doctors, according to Dr. Nnamdi Ndubuka, president of the Black Physicians of Canada, compared to 4.5 per cent of the population who identify as Black.
