Texture Paint- Patrol GU Floor

Steph from @OFFMAIN joined forced with @RedDirtDiary to race in @cliffhanger4wdevent948 She wanted a tough texture paint for the floor of the Patrol and TXT Coating fitted the bill perfectly. So from novice to spray painter, Steph steps through her first texture costing experience using Car Builders TXT Coating. TXT 2K is as tough and durable as you can get in a DIY format. Using the latest technology in resin coatings, TXT 2K is a High Solid Polyurethane consisting of a Part A + Part B component which when combined gives a chemical reaction making this coating go hard. TXT 2K has outstanding performance in adhesion and UV holdout. This coating was locally designed and developed to beat the competitors and perform in Australia’s harsh environment. TXT 2K is ideal for under carriages, wheel houses, utility tubs, tool boxes, fender flares, caravans, trailers, chassis, industrial uses and entire exteriors if your're feeling up to it. TXT 2K is a 2-Part paint system which comes ready to mix with paint and catalyst. Available in Black and Tintable versions the coating is thick and will give you a neat texture coating which is forgiving in covering a range of surfaces. The paint can be thinned down by adding TXT 2K reducer which will allow the coating to be applied by a conventional gravity feed or pot style gun. We suggest a paint gun with a tip size between 2.0 – 3.0mm, doing this will allow you to achieve a finer texture or close to smooth finish. HOW DO I GET THE COLOUR I WANT IN THE TINTABLE VERSION? The tintable option does not come in a specific colour but is fully customisable. To achieve your desired colour, provide the colour code at Autobarn, where they can create the colour using their No Mix paint system. Each bottle requires 80ml of colour tint. Once the tint is added, mix it thoroughly into the bottle, then add the hardener (200ml) for the final preparation.
