Woman cries about how hard it is to be Ex-MAGA. The internet doesn’t take it well.

A lot of people are understandably upset at this woman’s video. I get it, and their emotional reactions to it are so valid. I also think I have a bit of a different take on this staggering three time Trump voter leaving MAGA. One main aspect is that there might be an expectation of the now ex-MAGA to be immediately woke. After years of indoctrination into the MAGA cult. I’m not telling anyone to give these people grace, after all these three time Trump voters contributed to an awful lot of damage and harm to the people in this country. And across the globe. It’s not up to the most marginalized voices who’ve been harmed by these people to welcome them. It’s up to people like me, the ones who’ve done the deconstructing to do the education. It’s family and loved ones. Because we know what it’s like, we’ve been there, and we understand how we need to protect the people they’ve harmed.
