Holy difficulty spike! Here is a quick guide on How to Defeat the Horde in the Ruins Tunnels in Fatekeeper. This game is beautiful and fun, but damn this was rough. Blocking with R is challenging, I would recommend changing it to your right mouse button to make it feel more natural. THIS IS SPARTA!!!
