Due to hurricane Helene homelessness has increased dramatically all over the city of Asheville and surrounding areas. Many people are still intense campers sheds, and even motel rooms that have no physical address of their own. Many people depend on nonprofits and churches just to survive with help for food, housing lot rent, and other things due to the unforeseen circumstances of hurricane Helene. Many have yet to find employment as many small businesses all over the area were wiped out mini were business owners and lost all their facilities and equipment.
