Description
There’s a point in every man’s life where something’s got to give.
For years, I was deep into callisthenics and handstands.
Long sessions, skill work, and constant chasing of progress.
I loved it.
But as life evolved, fatherhood, business, and added responsibilities, I realised that my time and energy weren’t infinite.
I know that many men in midlife are running on borrowed energy. We tell ourselves we’ll “get back into it” when work settles, when the kids are older, when things slow down.
But we rarely do.
That’s when training needs to evolve.
It’s not about doing less, it’s about doing what’s sustainable.
For me, strength training gives structure, efficiency, and progress I can measure, without stealing time from the people and priorities that matter most.
The guilt men feel around not training enough, or not training “like they used to,” runs deep.
But it’s misplaced. The goal isn’t to train like you did at 25, it’s to train wisely for the man you are now.
Strong. Present. Purposeful.
How’s your training evolving with the season of life you’re in?
