PhilipPine Box TuRtles InvaDed Our Farm! SoMething very strange haPPENEd.

Recently, I noticed something unusual about the Philippine Box Turtle (Cuora amboinensis). 🐢 They’ve been spending more time in the swampy area near our farm — which normally doesn’t happen. In this video, I share my observations and thoughts on why this might be happening. There is currently a government project reinforcing and walling up the main river near us, and I suspect this disturbance in their natural habitat could be the reason they are seeking shelter closer to our farm. Are these turtles being displaced? Is the river modification affecting their movement and behavior? Let’s talk about it.
