The mini walk continues through the streets of the village to discover the iconic Landzette, the typical Aosta Valley masks with sparkling costumes adorned with mirrors, beads, and embroidery, inspired by Napoleon's uniforms and Napoleon's passage through the Great St. Bernard Pass. The festival remains itinerant: Landzette and musicians move from house to house, welcomed with toasts, refreshments, and shared tables in an atmosphere of authentic mountain conviviality. Accordions and saxophones accompany a liscio repertoire of polkas, mazurkas, and waltzes, but there's also a special choral moment to the tune of Bella Ciao, sung and played together amid smiles and applause. Top moments: parades through the Alpine streets, collective toasts, young people dressed as bears brawling and playing among the crowd, impromptu dances in the courtyards, and the overwhelming energy of the entire community. In this mini walk through the mountain village, we meet the iconic Landzette, traditional masks with sparkling costumes decorated with mirrors, beads and colorful embroidery, inspired by Napoleonic uniforms and the historic passage of Napoleon across the Great St Bernard. The celebration is itinerant: Landzette and musicians move from house to house, welcomed with food, drinks and heartfelt hospitality. Accordions and saxophones play traditional Liscio music such as polka, mazurka and waltz, and in this second part they also perform “Bella Ciao”, creating a powerful sing-along moment with the crowd.
