“Why Do People Act This Way in Front of the Kaʿbah?

The Kaʿbah is the most sacred place for Muslims. Millions turn their hearts toward it with humility and love — yet sometimes that love turns into chaos: crowding, pushing, and frantic attempts to touch or kiss the Black Stone. These moments risk safety, dignity, and the very meaning of worship.
