These Bridgerton fans paid hundreds of dollars for a Regency Era-themed night to remember. Instead, all they got was scammed. Attendees for the Bridgerton-themed ball in Detroit, Michigan were promised an elegant ball and “an evening of sophistication, grace and historical charm.” According to social media posts and local news updates, guests instead were scrambling to find seats in a sparsely decorated room, were served Kit Kat candy bars and raw chicken, and were ‘entertained’ by a pole dancer and a lone violinist.
