E85 rolled out at ₹82.12/litre #shorts

⛽ India’s first E85 fuel dispensing station has been inaugurated in Delhi today. It’s priced at Rs 82.12/litre in Delhi, which is Rs 20 less than regular E20 petrol (priced at Rs 102.12/litre). While E85 fuel is 20% cheaper, the drop in efficiency is typically 25-30%, given the lower energy density of ethanol. Thus running a car on E85 fuel may not be all that lucrative. And this is before factoring in the higher prices for E85-compatible vehicles.
