Failing Making Porcelain Vases

Here's a video I promised I wouldn't make... and it's the failures fault really. I had expected the process of trimming all of these vases and attaching their lines to be far more time intensive, yet, as you'll see in this video, I ruined most of them and then ran home with my tail between my legs to edit this defeatist video about trimming porcelain. The truth is, despite all my hours on the wheel, failure is always present and it tends to rear it's head most when I'm throwing and trimming new clay types as you have to adjust, carefully, to the new properties of the materials at hand, porcelain in this case. Thus, in this weekend's video, I'm trimming the angular porcelain vases made in my previous video. I explain why certain mistakes occur and how best to avoid them, together with speaking about filming and deciding to post what are arguably questionable, fail-filled videos, the type most potters would want to hide.
