Finish inner panel: Hem/finish inner panel edges and press. Pin it under the outer front flap so it peeks as in the image; baste along neckline and shoulder area to hold. 2. Sew shoulders: With right sides together, join front and back at shoulders. Press seams. 3. Attach sleeves: Set sleeves into armholes (gather sleeve head slightly if needed), sew and finish seam allowances. Create sleeve cuffs or narrow elastic casing and insert elastic for a gentle gathered cuff. 4. Side seams: Sew side seams from sleeve end to bodice hem in one continuous seam; press for clean lines. 5.
