Shanelle Dawes, Heart Attack Survivor

When she first had chest pains, Shanelle Dawes didn’t seek medical help. When the pains returned a week later, the 35-year-old went to the hospital and needed emergency open-heart surgery. Her message: She wants women to recognize the symptoms of a heart attack and call 911 immediately if they don’t feel right.
