This snake is NOT what it looks like!

This snake is not doing what it looks like! This snake is actually pretending to be dead. It is completely faking it and is perfectly fine. This snake will even begin to defecate to make it less attractive to any potential predator or threat that might be attacking it. This snake was not provoked or taunted to get it to do this; this species actually often does this without you even trying to get it to do this, which can be quite annoying when you are trying to film a Rinkhals hooding, but it prefers to flop over and play dead within seconds.
