How to lose a coaching job in the NHL

The Philadelphia Flyers have just 9 games remaining in the season and yet, they just fired their head coach John Tortorella. After a 7-2 loss on Tuesday night against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The flyers have just one win in their last 12 games, lost their 6th straight against the Leafs and let in 14 goals in just the last 2 games of that losing streak. However, the combination of benching Cam York for nearly the entire game followed by a shocker of a quote in his post game presser "'not really interested in learning how to coach in this type of season" he was today fired by Flyers GM Daniel Briere as Brad Shaw takes over in the interim.
