An incredible Display of Strength and Camaraderie from our Armed Forces at Today’s Lady Mayor’s Show

Did you know this famous London parade was officially renamed the "Lady Mayor's Show" for the first time in history? 🇬🇧📜 ​While Dame Susan Langley is the third female to lead the City of London in its 697-year history, she is the first to officially take the title of "Lady Mayor." To celebrate this "feminine energy," she invited 697 women to join the procession—one for every year the show has existed! ​Known as the oldest and longest (3 miles!) procession in the world, this year also featured the "Pearly Kings and Queens" to honor Dame Susan's East End roots. ​#CityOfLondon #LadyMayor #LondonHistory #LordMayorsShow #WomensHistory
