詳しくはこちら👉https://moov.ooo/article/5eb9f50f1b05ee0697dd2394 大日本印刷株式会社（DNP）が開発した、文章内容からその感情に合ったフォントを自動表示してくれる「DNP感情表現フォントシステム」。入力した言葉や絵文字の意味をリアルタイムに解析し、その時の気持ちにマッチしたフォントに自動で変換してくれるシステムだ。 感情やイメージを12種に分類したユニークなフォント DNPは、感情やイメージを12種に分類して、それぞれに最適なフォントを用意。これにより、感情が伝わりづらい文字でも、より豊かなコミュニケーションが可能となる。 単語や絵文字が持つ感情やイメージの設定、変換するフォント、使用フォント数はカスタマイズも可能だという。 文字でも感情が伝わるコミュニケーションツールへ SNSやLINEなどのツールが日常的となり、より便利なコミュニケーションが可能になった昨今だが、声や表情が伝わる会話と比べて、文字では送り手の意図や気持ちが伝わりにくいという課題もある。 そんな課題を解決すべくDNPは、明治時代から続くオリジナル書体「秀英体」の開発などで培ってきた文字表現技術や、印刷物に用いられる多様なフォントやコンテンツを用いたコミュニケーションのノウハウを活かし「DNP感情表現フォントシステム」を開発したという。 同社は今後、SNSやチャットボット、デジタルサイネージなどに対応した商品開発を進めると共に、AIによる判別精度の向上とユーザーの嗜好にあわせた変換を実現していく予定だ。 情感溢れるメッセージで、今の気持ちがもっと伝わりそう。 For more details 👉 https://moov.ooo/article/5eb9f50f1b05ee0697dd2394 Developed by DNP (Dai Nippon Printing), the “DNP Emotional Expression Font System” automatically displays fonts that match the emotions in a text. The system analyzes the meaning of the words and emojis entered in real time and converts them into fonts that reflect the user’s feelings. Unique fonts categorized into 12 types of emotions and impressions DNP classified emotions and impressions into 12 categories and prepared optimal fonts for each of them. By doing so, even text messages that normally make it difficult to convey feelings can enable richer and more expressive communication. The emotional settings of words and emojis, the fonts used for conversion, and the number of fonts available can also be customized. A communication tool that conveys emotions through text While communication tools such as SNS and LINE have become a part of everyday life and make communication more convenient, text-based messaging still has a challenge: compared to face-to-face conversations where voice and facial expressions are present, it can be difficult to convey the sender’s intentions and emotions through text alone. To address this issue, DNP developed the “DNP Emotional Expression Font System” by leveraging its expertise in typography—cultivated through the development of original typefaces such as the historic Shuei typeface, which dates back to the Meiji era—as well as its know-how in communication using a wide variety of fonts and printed content. Going forward, the company plans to develop products compatible with SNS, chatbots, and digital signage, while also improving AI-based emotion recognition accuracy and enabling font conversion tailored to users’ preferences.
