Description
In Surah Al-Qalam, when owners of the garden sinned by depriving the poor of their right, the most sensible among them reminded the rest:
قَالَ أَوْسَطُهُمْ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ لَوْلَا تُسَبِّحُونَ (68:28)
“The best among them said: Did I not tell you, why don’t you glorify Allah?”
He called them to Tasbeeh after their sin, why?
Because sin carries a form of disrespect to Allah, and “SubhanAllah” declares Allah is far above any fault or imperfection. It cleanses the heart from that evil and restores proper manners with Allah.
And ponder and reflect over this narration of have your sins forgiven.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever says:
سُبْحَانَ اللّٰهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ.
Subḥāna-llāhi wa bi ḥamdih.
(Allah is free from imperfection, and all praise is due to Him).
100 times a day, all of his sins will be forgiven, even if they are as abundant as the foam of the sea.” (Sahih Al-Bukhari: 6405)
