Scientists Discover How to Regrow Spines Using Fat Cells

Researchers at Osaka Metropolitan University have developed a method using stem cells derived from body fat to repair spinal fractures caused by osteoporosis. One these stem cells are formed into bone-promoting spheroids and combined with a biocompatible scaffold, they significantly enhance bone healing and restore spine strength in preclinical models.
