Grand Champion: Ritual Showdown (Sinulog-Based Category) 1st Place: Best in Musicality (Sinulog-Based Category) Special Award: 1st Prize for Choreographer Performance Details: "SugBohol" The winning performance, titled "SugBohol", was a tribute to the shared history and spiritual ties between Sugbu (Cebu) and Bohol. Theme: The concept explored the "Bolibongkingking," a sacred healing ritual from Loboc, Bohol, juxtaposing pagan traditions with Catholic devotion to Señor Santo Niño. The Contingent: A massive 400-member group consisting of 100 dancers, 200 props men, and 100 instrumentalists. Music: The award-winning sound was created by the Bohol United Symphonic Band, whose powerful and synchronized rhythms secured the 1st place spot for Musicality. #sinulog2026
