Former Middle School Teacher Charged With Sexual Assault

Former middle school teacher Ashley Fisler, who was twice nominated as teacher of the year, has been charged with sexually assaulting a middle school student. The student, who is now an adult, told police he and the teacher had "multiple sexual encounters in Fisler's vehicle and in her classroom" in New Jersey in 2021. Fisler is also accused of sending the boy "multiple nude photographs" of herself. Inside Edition spoke to the teacher's attorney, Rocco Cipparone, who says Fisler denies the allegations.
