Description

Mahindra XEV 9S, the 7-seater family SUV, from the Indian carmaker was launched in India today at a starting price of Rs 19.69 lakh, while the top-end trim costs Rs 29.45 lakh (ex-showroom). This is based on the same platform as the XEV9E and BE6, INGLO, and thus shares its powertrain and battery packs with the former cars. However, it resembles the Mahindra XUV700 from the side and rear profiles. This also means that the upcoming XUV700 facelift will share its electronic architecture with the XEV9S. For the first time, Mahindra has introduced a 70kWh battery pack that is claimed to offer a range of around 600Km. The 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs are claimed to offer 521Km and 679Km respectively.
