Description

The time is finally here! Trams are returning to Adelaide’s Glenelg tramline after a few months being limited to the city. Adelaide Metro has recently undertaken their tramway level crossing removal project which will ease congestion for drivers in the Adelaide suburbs. South Road overpass was extended to accommodate the lanes that will soon exist as part of the non-stop north-south corridor. Marion Road and Cross Road level crossings were replaced with a single overpass crossing both roads. Morphett Road was replaced with an overpass that also required the adjustment of the entry for trams into the Glengowrie depot. Shout out to @choo_choo_stew for the heads up after he noticed Test Trams leaving the temporary tram stabling facility at South Terrace 😁
