How to #shred #cardboard for #compost with a #chainsaw

I'd been puzzling over the best way to #shred #cardboard to mix into our #compost. A garden #shredder may not be sharp enough, while a normal paper shredder would may wear out quickly. So I decided to try putting the cardboard in the #truncator device I normally use for cutting up firewood. It does the job nicely, lots of thin strips of carboard produced, which will mix in well and help keep the compost aerated. The #chainsaw is a #husqvarna #540iXP #batterychainsaw #electricchainsaw
