Surviving Day One in Subnautica 2 means starting from nothing, gathering resources, crafting gear, and trying not to die immediately. This is Subnautica 2 gameplay from the very beginning, as I start a proper survival playthrough and figure out what it takes to survive the first day. After my first look, it is time to actually survive properly. I need to learn the basics, build what I can, explore the ocean, and hopefully avoid whatever wants to eat me.
