Eye of the Dragonfly Book Launch, Gleebooks Sydney

Something different this week - I launched a book! The Eye of the Dragonfly is an exploration of how and why I see the world through the prism of sport. My early childhood experiences helped shape my outlook, aiming for a 360 degree view of the world, with perspectives not always the same as my own, digging into stories often not told elsewhere, and with the good fortune of sitting and chatting to some of the most incredible people in the world. Why? Because sport tells us about ourselves and about each other, it is a prism that reflects the culture, politics and personalities of our nations. The Dragonfly has been flying around waterways for 300 million years, and as the only creature with a 360 degree view, it naturally became featured in the title of my book.
