It was broadcast live from the Naval Air Station in Norfolk, Virginia for 3,500 servicemen and women returning from The Gulf War. HBO agreed to make the signal available to more people - over 50 million cable households! Her performance here of "All The Man That I Need" is considered one of her best and the show won a Cable Ace Award for "Performance Music Special" in 1992.
