Charging Details of Mercedes AMG GT XX - 1041 kW peak and 850 kW average!

Mercedes AMG GT XX, the car that drove 40,075 km or around the world in 8 days - to be precise, 7 days, 13 hours and 24 mins was present at IAA and I had a chance to check out the car. The car is charged with Alpitronic HYC 1000, a prototype version. During the launch, it was equipped with Phoenix Contact 1000 kW CCS connector but during the run, Amphenol connector were used. Also the car can charge with a peak 1041 kW and an average power of 850 kW. Great job done by Mercedes AMG Team.
