Inside NASA’s Last Flying Super Guppy Aircraft

Most people know the Antonov, C-17 Globemaster, C-5 Galaxy, Airbus Beluga and Boeing Dreamlifter — but very few people know about NASA’s Super Guppy, one of the most unusual oversized cargo aircraft ever built. In this video, BeSnappy gets inside the NASA Super Guppy aircraft for a rare look at the giant transporter plane used to carry oversized space hardware, Artemis spacecraft parts, NASA equipment and even aircraft such as T-38 jets. This is not the biggest cargo aircraft in the world by weight, but the Super Guppy is famous for its massive internal cargo bay, huge bulbous fuselage and front-opening nose that allows enormous loads to slide inside. The Super Guppy has carried Artemis 1 crew module and service module hardware, oversized NASA space components, aircraft parts and special cargo that simply cannot fit inside normal transport planes.
