Suddenly, dark clouds gathered overhead, and rain began pouring heavily. Near a busy road, water quickly collected on a steep slope, turning it dangerously slick. A delivery cart loaded with heavy boxes lost control and began sliding downhill toward a crowded bus stop. People nearby tried to move away, but the wet ground made it hard to run safely.
