Is this RadioStatic Vox x Alastor Print CANON?

Did you know this in Hazbin Hotel? Recently a new print was released featuring vox and alastor, leading to alot of discussion and debate about what it means and if it’s canon. So what’s going on? Let me explain. So for the past while a secret print on streamily was waiting to be unveiled that you could pay to get signed by amir talai and christian borle. It was revealed on valentines day and it’s called sparks duo. We see alastor and vox in the bar from the flashback during season 2. It’s packed full of easter eggs and fun details. Alastor is playing the same piano that he does in the show. There’s a mic in the background that he has on his table during an episode. The vinyl has partners written on it, and on the wall we can read love is blind and pathetic. My favourite detail is the sheet music, alastor is playing stayed gone here. The print was made by silentzound, and fans noticed the song attached was thrill of first love, from the falsettos which christian borle performed in. In an instagram comment amir said that they originally wanted the sheet music to have one of those songs from that musical but couldn’t due to copyright. A little later on bluesky amir talked about the print, saying it’s not canon, but it’s a bit of fun. It’s not about winning or losing, just spreading joy. Back in 2024 one of the official accounts also said commissioned prints aren’t canon. So combined together what do i think? I think the print isn’t canon obviously, but it’s entirely possible for alastor and vox to have actually sat down and played piano with eachother. Even without going off statements viv has said in interviews, the show clearly hinted that vox had some sort of feelings towards alastor. This print is clearly leaning into that with all the fun details and love song references. Like amir said shipping isn’t a game about losing or winning, having fun is the most important. I think the print was awesome and it would be amazing to see more of alastor and vox’s friendship in the past play out. So what do you think? Do you like radiostatic? Let me know down below.
