Recipes:
Eggless pancake premix
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Storage time: 1 month
Ingredients:
Flour
Milk
Sugar
Baking powder
Baking soda
Method:
Mix together all the ingredients well an store in an airtight container.
Pasta Sauce
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 15 mins
Storage time: 6-7 days (refrigerated)
Ingredients:
1 kg tomatoes
1 carrot
½ bell pepper
10-12 cloves garlic
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Basil leaves
2 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp sugar
Method:
Cut tomatoes into halves.
Heat oil in a pan. place the tomatoes, cut side down in the pan. Place sliced bell pepper, garlic, sliced carrots around it and cover and cook for 10 minutes.
Remove the tomato skin. Add salt, pepper, basil leaves, sugar and blend in the blende to a coarse paste.
Cool and store refrigerated in an airtight container.
3. Boiled Pasta
Cooking time: 15 mins
Storage time: 3-4 days
Ingredients:
500g pasta
2 tsp salt
2 tbsp oil
Method:
Boil 1 litre water. Add 2 tsp salt. Add the pasta and cook for 6-7 mins till al dante.
Drain ad refresh in cold water. Add oil. Store refrigerated in an airtight container.
4. Idli Dosa Premix
Preparation time: 5 mins
Storage time: 2 months
Ingredients:
1 cup urad dal flour
½ cup poha
2 cups rice flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 tsp Fruit Salt
½ tsp baking soda
Method:
Grind together all the ingredients to make a fine powder and store.
5. High Protein Burger Patties
Preparation time: 20 mins
Storage time: 2 months (frozen)
Ingredients:
2 cups soya chunks
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
100g paneer
8-10 cloves garlic
2” ginger
Seasoning
3 tbsp corn flour
Method:
Boil the soya chunks with 2 cups water, salt, pepper, ginger, garlic till all the water is absorbed. Cool and grind. Add mashed paneer, corn flour and mix well. Shape into patties and store frozen.
6. Potato Stuffing
Preparation time: 15 mins
Storage time: 3-4 days
Ingredients:
500g boiled potatoes
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp red chili powder
2 tbsp oil
Method:
Mash the potatoes. Add all ingredients and mix well. Store refrigerated.
7. Eggless cupcakes
Preparation time: 3-4 mins
Baking time: 10 mins
Storage time: 4-5 days
Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1 cup powder sugar
½ cup yoghurt
1 tsp baking powder
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp vanilla essence
2 tbsp tutti fruity
Method:
Blend sugar in yoghurt. Add vanilla essence and mix. Sift in the flour and baking powder. Fold the mixture. Add oil, tutti fruity and blend.
Fill in paper cups and bake at 180C for 10-12 mins.
Store refrigerated for 4-5 days.
8. Chicken nuggets
Preparation Time: 10 mins
Storage time: 3 months (frozen)
Ingredients:
500g boneless chicken
2 tbsp flour
Salt to taste
10 cloves garlic
2” ginger
2-3 green chilies
1 cup panko bread crumbs to roll
Method:
mince ginger, garlic, chillies. Make a coarse of chicken in the blender. Mix all ingredients. Shape into nuggets. Dip in water, roll in bread crumbs. Freeze for 3 months.
9. Bread Spread
Preparation time: 5 mins.
Storage time: 5-6 days
Ingredients:
100g paneer
2 tbsp yoghurt
2 tbsp butter
Salt to taste
Peri peri seasoning
Method:
Blend all ingredients and store refrigerated.
10. Sprouts
Ingredients:
200g whole green moong
Soak the moong overnight. Discard water and place in sprout maker.
