Kaan Luum is a lagoon about 6 miles south of Tulum's hotel zone, centered on a natural phenomenon that makes it worth the detour: a floating platform anchored above a deep cenote at the lagoon's center, where the water shifts from shallow turquoise to an abrupt dark blue as the freshwater sinkhole drops below.
