Twin Elements is proud to present Part 1 of "Against All Odds”. A cinematic 8 Part bowhunting film series set amidst the majestic mountains of Montana, USA. For us Aussies, this international adventure began long before setting foot on American soil. The logistics of such a journey were a feat in themselves, but with the invaluable help of our friends in Montana, we embarked on this incredible trip. After days of travel, we finally touched down in Bozeman, Montana, eager for the adventure ahead. Three days before the season opener, we spent time scouting and familiarising ourselves with the rugged terrain and the wildlife we’d be pursuing. Little did we know what awaited us over the next twenty-plus days in the heart of September’s fall season, fully immersed in the raw beauty of the elk rut. This hunt took place in a limited entry unit, where the odds of drawing a tag were less than 0.03% for non-residents—a chance of fewer than 1 in 300. Our focus was clear. To pursue and take down a mature herd bull. Throughout the hunt, we observed countless satellite bulls, remaining patient and selective, waiting for that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. By doing so, we extended our hunt deep into the season, allowing us to witness even more stunning landscapes, diverse wildlife, and, of course, the intense action of rutting bulls.
