Description
I went to my first ever rally sprint and got the chance to ride in a real rally car… and we sent it.
This was my first experience at a competitive rally sprint event, watching drivers push flat out on dirt, gravel, and technical sections at full speed. I rode passenger in a purpose built rally car and experienced what a real rally jump, braking zone, and high speed corner actually feels like from inside the car.
If you’ve ever wondered what a rally sprint is, how rally racing works, or what it feels like to be inside a real rally car at full send, this video shows the raw experience.
Rally Ready is one of the most well known rally schools in the U.S., hosting rally sprint events and training drivers in real dirt and gravel competition environments. This was my first time attending a rally sprint and experiencing what a proper rally jump feels like from inside the car. Rally sprint events are short format rally races where drivers compete against the clock on closed dirt courses. The level of grip, suspension travel, and commitment required is unreal. Seeing it in person completely changed how I look at rally driving and competitive motorsport.
This is just the beginning. I’m serious about building my own rally car and competing in events like SCCA RallyCross and regional rally sprint series. This experience was the first step.
