Fixing the old | Tools and GRK

Sometimes framing isn’t about building something new… it’s about pulling something old back where it belongs. Before I could tie a new wall into this existing framing, I needed to pull everything tight and eliminate the gaps that had developed over time. This is where the GRK screws really shine. Instead of fighting with clamps or trying to force the framing together by hand, the screws pulled the material together with ease and locked everything in place exactly where I wanted it. It’s one of those small details that most people will never notice once the drywall goes up, but it’s the difference between building on a solid foundation and building on something that’s already out of alignment.
